3. Take down window treatments. You should also remove curtains, blinds or any other window coverings to avoid damage. This way, the installers can remove the old window and install the new one with ease.
4. Make arrangements days before installation day. A window installation, or any exterior home project, can be noisy. If you have pets or small children, you may want to make arrangements for them to be at a family member or friend’s place before the work begins.
