Our Windows Are Impervious to Extreme Climates
For our study, we removed 10 perfectly good double-hung windows from one of our first customers in Minnesota. We conducted testing using the American Society for Testing and Materials’ (ASTM) standards to quantify Fibrex’s condition. The results were excellent: after 20 years of brutal winters and muggy summers, Fibrex has been scientifically proven to stay structurally sound for decades.
Fibrex owes its incredible strength to its wood fiber component. Same as pine, it expands and contracts little with extreme temperature changes.
Our Windows Are as Easy to Operate as The Day They Were Installed

The balance is the mechanism that allows the raised sash stay up. In the past, balance failure was common, causing sash windows to slam shut and serve as hazards.
